How to predict Engineering College with JEE Main and Advanced Rank?
Clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are the dreams of lots of aspirants. Some of them start preparing from class 9th itself through foundation courses and some start after class 10th. Both of them have their own merits. Someone who has started early gets better guidance and support from an early age, whereas someone who started preparation in class 11th have better clarity and focus towards their goal. Some students take coaching, while others don’t. However, despite all these differences, every student who appears in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced has a common dream: to get selected at one of the good technical institutes in the country, preferably IITs.
It’s the natural human behaviour to get curious about the result, and aspirants are no different from it. As the exam results are announced, students become very eager to know what college they will get; however, this can only be known after the counselling. But the aspirants can get an idea of the college based on the previous trends. They can get a rough idea of the course, stream, and college via a tool named College Predictor. For the help of students, MENIIT has launched their own JEE college predictor.
JEE College Predictor
JEE College Predictor is a tool that helps students get an idea of the college they are getting based on their JEE Mains and JEE Advanced Ranks. Colleges like IITs, IIITs, GFTIs, NITs, etc. are listed in the predictor. Students need to fill their rank as per the CRL, category, gender, institute, type of institute, academic programs, quotas, and round. Based on all this, the predictor will list all the colleges and institutes along with the streams and opening and closing ranks. This helps the students list out their favourite college and desired stream. Students need to submit their choices after releasing the results. The JEE College Predictor helps candidates do that.
Benefits of JEE College Predictor
There are multiple benefits of college predictor, some of which are listed below:
- Assessment of competition: The college predictor helps the candidates assess the level of competition among other candidates.
- Analysis of ranks: It helps candidates get a rough idea of the opening and closing ranks of various colleges.
- Prior college selection: This tool helps list out the colleges and courses beforehand.
- Early planning and decision-making: Candidates can make early plans and decisions regarding their college by using this tool.
- Estimation of suitable institutes: The JEE college predictor helps students make an estimate of the suitable institutes based upon their all-India ranks. This helps the candidates narrow down their choices and focus on the institutes where they have higher chances of admission.
How Does College Predictor Work
The JEE college predictor uses an advanced algorithm that considers multiple factors before showing the result. When the candidate enters their all-India rank, category details, gender details, etc. Then the algorithm compares it with past-year data, past-year ranks, and cut-off scores. Then it generates the list of colleges and courses where the aspirants have the chance of admission, along with their opening and closing ranks.
MENIIT college predictor
